About The Goldendoodle Breed
Goldendoodles are designer dogs, bred for amazing temperaments and low to non-shed. Goldendoodles are known for being very loving towards children, friendly with other dogs, and very easy with strangers. They are very interactive, social dogs and are at their happiest when they are with people. Because of their intelligence, eager to please personality, and love of learning, training goes easily.
Golden Retrievers are loved by everyone because they make great family dogs, with calm, cheerful personalities.
Poodles are one of the smartest dog breeds and they do not shed, which makes them an overall great house dog.
These qualities make both the Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle a wonderful choice for a family dog. The offspring from these two excellent companion dogs, naturally makes an exceptional pet.
At Daisy’s Goldendoodles, we work to produce Goldendoodles that exemplify these desirable qualities. We have both F1 & F1b Goldendoodle Puppies available.
F1 Goldendoodle~The first generation (F1) Goldendoodle is the product of a Poodle crossed with a Golden Retriever. Some may have light to moderate shedding, but some may not shed at all. F1 Goldendoodles are compatible for most families with mild allergies. Most have an amazing wavy coat, but some have a beautiful wavy/curly coat.
F1b Goldendoodle~ The backcross (F1B) Goldendoodle is produced by crossing a F1 Goldendoodle with a Poodle. F1B Goldendoodles will have a higher success rate for non-shedding and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies. The F1B Goldendoodle is 75% Poodle, which makes this generation the most hypo allergenic of all the Goldendoodle generations we breed. Most have adorable curly coat, but some have a cute wavy, curly coat.
